The New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) honors Hollywood actor George Clooney (59). “George Clooney’s tremendous merits as an actor, director and producer are only matched by his deep commitment as an activist for social justice and humanitarian aid around the world,” said Rajendra Roy, film curator at MoMA, according to the statement.

Eight films make it to the MoMa

Oscar winner Clooney has become famous around the world with films such as “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Monuments Men”. Eight of his films have made it into the MoMA’s collection of over 30,000 films.
