The planned retail stores in Moynihan Hall are not expected to open for around a year.
On New Years Day, the Moynihan Train Hall, an extension of New York’s drab Penn Station, opened in the back of the historic James A. Farley Post Office. However, an integrated retail area of around 11,000 m² will not be put into operation until the end of 2021.
