New York Mayor Eric Adams Visits Shuva Israel’s Central Yeshiva in Manhattan and Meets with Chief Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto

Shuva Israel’s central yeshiva is located in Manhattan and approximately ten other yeshivas are located throughout New York City.

New York Mayor Eric Adams met with Chief Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto, the leader of Shuva Israel communities around the world, and discussed current issues with him. Mayor Adams visited Rabbi Pinto in Manhattan on a special visit and spoke at length with him. Rabbi Pinto congratulated him and thanked him for his efforts in favor of the Shuva Israel yeshivot scattered throughout New York, which receive broad support from City Hall.

Shuva Israel has approximately 100 branches around the world that serve as Torah study centers and charitable organizations in many countries. Shuva Israel’s central yeshiva is located in Manhattan and approximately ten other yeshivas are located throughout New York City.

“We appreciate your great favors,” Rabbi Pinto told the mayor of New York. “Your support for the Shuva Israel communities, in particular, and Jewish communities in general is inspiring. You are a symbol and role model of kindness and love,” he said.

Rabbi Pinto spoke to Mayor Adams about the activities of Shuva Israel in Morocco and told him how the Moroccan government, led by King Mohammed VI, works fully for the Jews of Morocco and exceptionally supports the activities of the yeshivot Shuva Israel in Casablanca and Rabat.
