The marathon New York it’s back. On November 7, the 50th edition of the world’s greatest runner show will be held, with 33,000 runners. A single appointment for which registrations will open on June 8.

After the 2020 edition was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the already registered runners were able to decide between returning their registration or exchanging it for a number for the 2021, 2022 or 2023 edition. Of the more than 30,000 registered runners Before the 2020 suspension, 54 percent decided to run the 2021 edition.
Race participants will have to comply with federal, state and local regulations (probably pre-travel COVID-19 test and quarantine). The race will probably focus on social distance, reduction of contact zones, much more restrictive sanitary protocols, tests and layout. Most likely this year, in addition to the training plan, participants will have to be vaccinated or present a negative test before traveling.

The New York Marathon is, for many runners, the best and most special in the world. It travels the five districts of the city along its 42 kilometers and 195 meters and it does so through an endless corridor of public cheering on the streets of the American city.
