New York man dies while riding subway car

A highly dangerous act resulted in a death early Saturday morning in the New York subway. Indeed, a 32-year-old man lost his life while surfing on the roof of a metro car.

The individual lost his footing as the vehicle passed over the Williamsburg Bridge, which connects the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The man then fell onto the tracks and was struck by another metro.

His death was pronounced when the emergency services arrived, a little after 4:30 am. By late afternoon, the man had still not been identified.

“Getting on the roof of a railcar is not smart,” a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority told CNN.
