NEW YORK — Governor Kathy Hochul announced Thursday that New York State’s annual holiday giving drive to benefit families in need began December 1 and will run through December 16. “This holiday season, I encourage all New Yorkers to come together to support families and children in need across the state,” Governor Hochul said. “New York’s annual Toy and Coat Drive is a great opportunity to bring some much-needed joy and hope to our communities, and anyone with the means to do so can spread some holiday cheer by making a donation.”
