The state announced Monday a new app designed to help New Yorkers determine if they meet the criteria for the COVID-19 vaccine.
The “Am I Eligible” application aims to connect users with vaccine administration centers, as well as schedule appointments.

Currently, the state is prioritizing the administration of vaccines to healthcare workers.
“We try to control COVID with one hand while trying to defeat it with the other, and the vaccine is the weapon that will win this war,” Governor Cuomo said in a statement.
“Distributing this vaccine will be the largest operation the Government has ever had to undertake and we are taking bold steps to ensure it is delivered quickly and fairly to all New Yorkers,” he added.
