The New York Knicks are still the most valuable team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) according to the annual analysis of the business magazine “Forbes”.
Among other things, thanks to the renovation of their home and a lucrative TV contract, the value of the club increased by 15 percent to 4.6 billion US dollars (4.2 billion euros), wrote “Forbes”.

The other places follow – this order is unchanged – the Los Angeles Lakers (4.4 billion dollars / 4.0 billion euros), Golden State Warriors (4.3 billion dollars / 3.9 billion euros) , Chicago Bulls (3.2 billion dollars / 2.9 billion euros) and record champions Boston Celtics (3.1 billion dollars / 2.8 billion euros). The reigning champions Toronto Raptors are in tenth place with an estimated value of 2.1 billion dollars (1.9 billion euros). The San Antonio Spurs, the club of Austria’s NBA export Jakob Pöltl, are listed in 14th place with 1.8 billion dollars (1.64 billion euros).
