Ed davis so comes from Utah Jazz. Salt Lake City franchise needed to free up space under Cape Town in order to recruit and / or extend Jordan Clarkson during the offseason. Davis is therefore sent to New York with two second rounds of draft.
It’s a good pick for the Knicks, especially on a budget. He might not have a big impact on the results but Ed Davis is a solid interior. And serious. Ideal for framing the locker room. And ideal to ensure the role of back-up behind the young Robinson, who should finally be full time.
