After celebrating the summer solstice with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the symphony orchestra of the Italian capital, and the solo violinist Anna Tifu, who performed Vivaldi’s “Estate” – one of the concertos that make up The four Seasons –, the Fendi house collaborates with the Juilliard School, the best school dedicated to the performing arts, for its project “Renaissance – Anima Mundi”.
Thus, six student musicians of the jazz studies program, perform the original score composed by student Aaron Matson, “Rollerblading in Harlem”, commissioned by Fendi for this video. The musicians are dressed in clothes chosen by themselves from the collections of the Roman house, season fall winter 2020-2021. “Beyond our admiration for the dedication of the students who have reached the level of achievement having been accepted to The Juilliard School in their respective disciplines, our common obsession with craftsmanship and the importance the arts play in society is the reason why FENDI chose to make a significant donation to Juilliard“said Fendi CEO Serge Brunschwig.
The house of Fendi has also launched scholarships for the students of the Juilliard School in order to support these future artists to achieve their aspirations.
