New York : Jean-Georges Latin version

Jean-Georges Vongerichten? We never get tired of it! This Alsatian troublemaker with thirty or forty addresses multiplies the brands but also the ideas that accompany them. Right next to his Abcv, he runs an ABC Cocina with unfailing charm, which we have already told you about in its early days. The cuisine has undeniable Latin accents, the spices support quality products and the taste is flattering and even pampered.

Examples of what we find there? Empanadas stuffed with mushrooms with fresh mozzarella and green chili aioli, guacamole with tomato salsa and crunchy tortillas, tuna tartare with avocado, cucumber and mint, crispy sweet potatoes with cotija cheese and crunchy garlic, without forgetting this piece of homemade bravura that is the fried squid to be dipped in an amarillo garlic sauce with green chile salsa.

We make it very American for dessert with the very creamy cake with its soft meringue called “creamsicle very leches”, its mandarin sorbet plus vanilla ice cream accompanied by a cinnamon biscuit. And we drink Argentinian with the easy-drinking Pinot Noir from the Chacra Barda bodega in Rio Negro. Bye-bye New York!
