New York Islanders Wins Balcers’ Sharks Extension

Rudolf Balcer’s “Sharks” in San Jose won the New York “Islanders” 2: 1 in the overtime of the National Hockey League away game on Friday night.

In less than 19 minutes, Balcers played once, scored one force, blocked one shot, took the puck once, lost the puck twice and ended the game with a negative efficiency of -1.

Matthew Barzal put Islanders in the lead in the second minute of the game, but in the middle of the first period, Nick Bonino was tied.

Erik Carlson scored in the overtime after Timo Meier’s pass.

The next game “Sharks” will be played on Friday, meeting with the second team “Rangers” of New York.
