A year after the start of the Corona crisis, the city of New York celebrated its more than 30,000 corona deaths in an emotional ceremony. The ceremony began with a minute’s silence in honor of the dead who died in connection with the coronavirus. Images of pandemic victims were projected onto the Brooklyn Bridge. The New York Philharmonic also played and a bishop, a rabbi and an imam spoke, among others.
