In the predominantly Hispanic Corona district of New York, the health crisis has left lasting traces. Many residents have lost their jobs, their income and are now struggling to eat. As the country prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving, the lines are stretching for food donations. Last year, the association that helps the most vulnerable in this neighborhood distributed 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys. This year, they have planned 4 times more, and that might not be enough. Laura Geisswiller is on hand to hear the testimony of these families.
