Horn Bad Meinberg. The “New York Gospel Stars” are coming to Germany for their 15th tour, also in Bad Meinberg. After the last two tours had to be postponed due to the pandemic, they will be guests at the Kurtheater on Wednesday 21 December, from 7.30pm.
According to a press release, the “New York Gospel Stars” are as distinctive as their hometown of New York. The peculiarity of their performances: every year the audience saw and heard new faces and voices in addition to the regular cast. Each member has a unique voice and individual way of interacting with the audience. The organizer reported that old songs are spiced up with new and fresh accents every year.
The singers had joyful, overwhelming, inspiring, but sometimes melancholy and sad songs in their baggage. With each show it also becomes clear how much the “New York Gospel Stars” believe in God and want to convey his message to the audience. The lineup has worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Whitney Houston, Ed Sheeran and Aretha Franklin, among others.
