Two icons, the one in sports, the Giants and the other of communications, Univision, come together to make a “touch down” and create the first television program, “Sábados con los New York Giants”, a milestone in the sports programs of the Hispanic network.
The two organizations announced that they will expand their alliance with a series of multi-platform projects throughout the year in order to reach Latino fans.
To begin in the alliance, Univision will lead the search for the first “Team correspondent” in Spanish in the area to join the group of broadcasters of “Giants in Spanish” of Univision New York. The winner will present compelling reporting and insightful analysis across Univision’s various television and digital media platforms during the 2021 NFL season.
Under the leadership of Damaris Diaz, from the Univision screens and the legendary Victor CruzThe Giants will take viewers on a sports tour as they explore all things football. Univision will also collaborate with the team on a unique experience on game days during Hispanic Heritage Month in the fall.
