Authorities issued a flood warning that is in effect from this morning until Thursday afternoon, due to the heavy rains that will bring the remnants of the former tropical storm Ida.
Great caution is advised as 3 to 6 inches of heavy downpours are expected that will be affecting the entire region with flash floods including the five boroughs all the way to Long Island at night.
These remnants of Ida will begin to decrease already in the morning hours of this Thursday.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature of the day will reach 72 degrees. With sustained winds at 11 miles per hour.
At night, heavy rain continues in the city, with temperatures dropping to 68 degrees with sustained winds of up to 17 miles per hour.
And this Thursday, the mercury rises to 74 degrees with scattered downpours in the morning hours and winds of up to 15 miles per hour.
