New York fire severely damaged 19th-century Manhattan church


New York, Saturday, December 5, 2020 ((rezonodwes.com)) – A fire that broke out on Saturday morning in a vacant building in East Village in Manhattan spread to the nearby church which was badly damaged. No injuries were reported.

The Manhattan fire destroyed the Middle Collegiate Church from the 19th century. More than 100 firefighters had to intervene to contain the fire which broke out around 5 a.m.
