New York Filmmaker Irish McDonnell Presumed Dead After Remains Found on Breezy Point Beach

NEW YORK (Dagbladet): Irish McDonnell (44) was last seen on November 4 when he left his apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. Since then, the police and relatives have been looking for him.

On Friday, remains were found, which the police suspect to be the Irish filmmaker, write NBC News.

Early on Friday afternoon, the police went to the popular Breezy Point beach in Queens, New York. There, a passer-by had discovered the body in the sand.

His bike was then found locked to a bike rack on November 7 at Fort Tilden, which is beached next to Breezy Point.
