New York festivals ban NGO campaigns from the creative competition

This year BBDO’s “Eurythenes Plasticus” campaign was the big winner at the New York Festivals – next year it would no longer be allowed to participate in the competition

The US creative competition New York Festivals surprised with a consequent decision: From next year, the main competition of the Advertising Awards will no longer accept works that were commissioned by NGOs. In the future, only commercial campaigns will compete against each other here.
