It has been almost a year and a half since shows were able to take place in front of an audience. For the past three seasons, the world’s most famous fashion houses have been forced to have their fashion shows largely digitally held due to the corona pandemic. But now the Fashion Week is back in full swing and provides us with a good portion of trends …

All Eyes On Me

Tom Ford’s collection was designed to be seen. That’s right! After all, we’ve sat around home long enough. One more reason to go full throttle when it comes to fashion. So we pepper sweatpants and hoodies in the corner and rely on sequins, velvet and satin and yes, like everything at once. Holding back is no more. But don’t panic. Still, it doesn’t get uncomfortable. Because the cuts remain casual and wide. Just with a good dose of glamor.

Yes, it was a long time ago, but there was actually a time when you didn’t work from the kitchen table in a baggy T-shirt and wide pants, but threw yourself into chic workwear and started the journey to the office. The collection by Peter Do inspires with perfect tailoring and with elegant trouser suits ensures anticipation and almost a little excitement. So when we return to the office, we reach for oversized blazers, elegant blouses and wide trousers – preferably in chic beige or timeless black.

But not in the way you think. Designer Michael Kors shows how it is done: his collection, inspired by the “pleasure of love”, shows stylish cut-outs and sexy bras, combined with elegant pencil skirts and sensual red lips. And even if we combine the bra with a blouse or top in everyday life, we can remember one thing: We show what we have. Take courage!

Anyone who was panic about having to give up their homewear completely can breathe a sigh of relief. Because even the designers don’t seem to find it easy to separate from cozy loungewear. That is why designer Joseph Altuzarra continues to rely on comfortable cuts and XXL cardigans in his collection. Noble details, such as the golden buttons, make the relaxed trend suitable for everyday use and yes, almost even for the office. What more do we want?
