On the one hand, all laws, documents and other materials generated by the city will be required to use the inclusive terminology gender “menstrual product”, rather than the commonly used “feminine hygiene product”.
The new legislation also requires broader requirements for Education departments and Prisons for the free supply of menstrual productsand that they submit an annual report to ensure compliance with that law.
