A total of 21.6 percent of those examined in the city of New York found the antibodies that arise after an infection with the coronavirus. Between May 1 and June 13, around 12,000 people were randomly selected and tested across New York State. The test was positive for 13.4 percent.
Many researchers assume that those who have already had the pathogen SARS-CoV-2 are immune to the disease Covid-19 at least for a certain time. However, current antibody studies are in the early stages of development and it is unclear how accurate they are.
