NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – A surprisingly slow economic growth in China took the wind out of the sails of the Wall Street recovery rally on Monday. On top of that, there were ongoing inflation concerns.
The Dow Jones Industrial (Dow Jones 30 Industrial) fell 0.37 percent to 35 165.70 points. In the past week, the leading index had achieved a weekly plus of 1.6 percent.
The S&P 500 lost 0.15 percent on Monday to 4464.49 points. For the technology-heavy NASDAQ 100 it went down to 15 140.99 points./la/men
