New York equities: Slightly lower after the latest record run

After another record high at the start of the stock market on Thursday, the US benchmark index Dow Jones Industrial quickly lost its power. After the first half hour it fell by 0.30 percent to 35,379.68 points. The S&P 500 lost 0.24 percent to 4436.82 points. On the Nasdaq, the technology-heavy selection index Nasdaq 100 fell 0.42 percent to 14,964.76 points.
