NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – Wall Street has started the new week with losses after recent strong fluctuations. Investors on Monday took into account the risks to the economy, such as inflation and a renewed rise in Covid-19 cases in some parts of the world.
The Dow Jones Industrial (Dow Jones 30 Industrial) fell in early trading by 0.42 percent to 34 237.30 points. A week ago, the US benchmark index climbed above the 35,000 mark for the first time before the prices went on a roller coaster ride.
