New York equities: Dow starts sluggishly after record high

Within reach of the latest records, the US stock exchanges started trading a few points easier on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial fell after half an hour of trading by 0.05 percent to 27,769.75 meters. A price slide at the network equipment supplier Cisco was considered a heavy burden for the New York benchmark index. The day before, the Dow had passed the 27,800 mark for the first time in its history.
