NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The US stock exchanges closed inconsistently on Thursday after a volatile trade. For the leading index Dow Jones Industrial (Dow Jones 30 Industrial), the price tables showed an increase of 0.62 percent to 32,619.48 points, while the market-wide S&P 500 advanced 0.52 percent to 3909.52 points.
