Fahim Saleh, founder and CEO of Gokada, a company that offers motorcycle tours in Nigeria, was killed in his Manhattan flat. The Police Department confirmed that the victim’s body was dismembered, reports the New York Daily News.
When the sister of the 33-year-old American millionaire of Bangladeshi origin came to see him on Tuesday, he found his torso next to the living room and nearby was an electric saw. Meanwhile, other parts of her body were in bags. According to the sources in the middle, the woman interrupted the alleged murderer when she was cleaning the apartment, who fled down the stairs.
In addition, they indicated that a surveillance camera, which possibly captured the last moments of Saleh’s life, shows the victim entering the elevator on Monday night, quickly followed by another man, wearing a black suit, gloves, hat and a mask.
The autopsy results showed that Saleh was fatally stabbed in the chest, later beheaded, and his arms and legs were cut off with an electric saw. A source in the police told the media that the creepy execution could have been caused by a business that went wrong. The investigation is currently ongoing.
The victim’s family stated that they “still cannot understand” his death and urged the authorities to “work diligently to get to the bottom of that horrible crime.” “There are no words or actions that give comfort to any of us except the capture of that person”, reads the statement released for his family.
