NEW-YORK-The Guinean diplomat to the United Nations has bowed out! Ambassador Kèlètigui Fama TOURÉ, died this Monday, November 30, 2020 in New York, as a result of illness.
The 62-year-old deceased was promu recently as Chargé d’Affaires at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Guinea to the United Nations.
Mr. TOURÉ was Political Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Guineans Abroad, before joining New York following the brutal dismissal of the former diplomat Fatoumata Kaba.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that arrangements are being made by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Guinea to the United Nations for the repatriation of the body as soon as possible.
