A famous mystery writer and former cop comes to Ross for help: her husband is missing. The man was much younger than her, and lived on her hooks. The investigation turns to a car theft, but it seems in fact that the “victim” did not disappear alone: he had a relationship with a young married woman, with whom he wanted to start a new life. Investigators discover that the young woman’s husband has a troubled past, and may have killed the two lovers.
