Three people were shot dead within minutes of each other. Goren and Eames learn that the weapon used in these crimes is listed and has been given to Thomas Callahan, a police officer. We then find Callahan crawling in the subway four blocks from the murders. He has no recollection of what he did the day before. The inspectors decide to investigate the life of this rather strange behavior policeman.
