A veterinarian is found murdered alongside two dead horses. Goren and Eames discover that this doctor was taking care of other horses including a mare who has disappeared. Their investigation will lead them to a penitentiary which is located near the stud farm. Then to international drug trafficking. But the culprit will not be who they thought they were.
