The platform is not yet overcrowded. Karla Williams-Oliveira and her husband Kaleb have enough space to take a selfie in Times Square in front of the flickering neon signs. The May sun is shining, in the background the 110 meter high skyscraper, from the top of which the legendary ball is lowered every year on New Year’s Eve, rises into the blue sky. “It’s great,” enthuses Kaleb. “Now is the ideal time to visit.”
