“New York Cops”: John Wayne Gacy’s killer allegedly raped an actor in the series before abducting him

Actor famous for his roles in New York Judicial Police, Grey’s Anatomy or Sex and the City, Jack Merrill he would have gone through hell a few years ago. In fact, the actor, who is now 65 years old, appeared in an interview with Peoplethat she was allegedly raped and kidnapped by the notorious killer John Wayne Gacy in 1978.

At the time, the actor was just 19 years old when the killer approached him on the streets of Chicago before stuffing a tissue full of poppers into his face. The actor then showed himself in the house of the man who claimed to have killed at least 33 teenagers and young men.

The “New York Police Department” actor was raped

“He told me to shut up (…) I suddenly realized how dangerous he was (…) I knew I couldn’t make him angry. I just had to calm the situation down and pretend everything was fine.explains the actor New York Judicial Police who revealed that he began to be afraid when he woke up.

As our colleagues from Parisianafter Jack Wayne Gacy offered him weed and beer, Jack Merrill was then handcuffed and tied around the neck “with a system of nooses and ropes that would have strangled him if he struggled“: “I knew I didn’t have much of a chance if I fought him. I didn’t panic or scream.”he explains while it appears the killer put a weapon in his mouth before raping him.

John Wayne Cacy asked to see him again

After going through hell, the actor was famous for his roles in New York police judge, Grey’s Anatomy or Sex and the City he would be taken back by his attacker. When he dropped it off, John Wayne Gacy handed him a piece of paper on which his phone appeared: “Maybe we’ll see each other again one day.”.

“I didn’t call the police, I didn’t know it was a murder at the time (…) I made a deal with myself: I was going to get through this problem no I was going to leave my happiness in this house”points out Jack Merrill, before continuing: “I thought if the police needed my help I would come forward”. A situation he preferred to forget but he needed to wake up.
