New York – Commemoration of over 30,000 corona deaths

Exactly one year after the first person died in New York after a confirmed corona infection, the metropolis has thought of the more than 30,000 other dead since then.

Musicians from the New York Philharmonic performed live at a memorial event that was broadcast live. Meanwhile, images of some of the dead were projected onto the pillars of the Brooklyn Bridge. New York had become the center of the pandemic in the USA in spring 2020, but the infection rate has now stabilized relatively.
