The dog parks, within the city, have been closed due to one more initiative to enforce the rules of social distancing.
Parks Department officials say they have been monitoring the sites and have noted lack of space and overcrowding.
Although these spaces are off limits, officials say the parks remain a great place for people and their pets to get outside and exercise, but at a distance.
They add that dogs must be on a leash at all times.
