New York City on High Alert for Possible Unrest Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict

New York City is on alert for possible unrest caused by the conflict between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas.

Mayor Eric Adams ruled out a general threat, but says they are on the lookout for possible ‘lone wolves’ who could cause some damage.

In an exclusive interview with Univision 41, Adams commented that they are coordinated with National Security.

In addition to having the entire police force at your disposal.

“What I can promise New Yorkers is that we will not rest. “I spoke to the Secretary of Homeland Security a few moments ago and he offered his help,” he said.

He added that they are coordinating with churches, synagogues and mosques so that they can report any suspects and act in a timely manner.

However, he stressed that there is no general threat so far.

“We are with the institutions, both synagogues and mosques and other churches to be vigilant. Not because of a general threat, but because of possible ‘lone wolves’ who are out there and have become radicalized,” he commented.

“We want to make sure we can identify them and give people the information they need so they can report if they see something inappropriate,” he said.

This afternoon there will be several protests in the City both in favor of Israel and Palestine.

Although radical groups made a global call to intensify the protests, the authorities have stressed that they have no information of a general threat in the City.
