Unsurprisingly, US President Donald Trump, to whom the message from the metropolis’ democratic chief of town was directed, was hardly surprised. Bill de Blasio just wanted to “paint the famous & beautiful Fifth Avenue, right in front of Trump Tower / Tiffany, with a big yellow Black Lives Matter sign,” he wrote on Twitter.
Trump then quoted the alleged protest call “Pigs in a Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon” that the BLM protesters would use. “Police officers from NYC are furious.” ! ”Trump’s tweet ended.
