New York City Lottery Player Strikes It Rich with $1 Million Scratch-Off Win

A New York City lottery player named Rodney Henderson won a Strike It Rich drawing from the state lottery. The ticket was a Scratch-Off that netted Henderson $1 million.

Henderson preferred to have the million dollars paid in 20 annual payments of $30,612, after paying the required taxes.

EThe winner bought the winning ticket at a store called 477 Foodlocated at 477 Lenox Avenue in Manhattan.

The other tickets that have won smaller prizes have until April 4, 2024 to expire. This means that the winners will lose everything if they do not claim their money by said date.

The New York Lottery offers several $5 Scratch-Off games with prizes ranging from $250,000 to $1 million..
