New York’s Carnegie Hall plans to reopen in October after a corona break of around 18 months.
With the classical music stars Jonas Kaufmann, Igor Levit and Anne-Sophie Mutter, more than 100 events are planned for the 2021/2022 season, the operators said.
New York was particularly hard hit by the pandemic in the USA in the spring of last year. Almost all cultural institutions closed, including Carnegie Hall. The infection process is now under control. Numerous facilities have already reopened.
