In order to rid the streets of illegal motorcycles, New York Mayor Eric Adams felt compelled to take this drastic step.
On Twitter, Adams posted a gif of himself grinning in front of the bulldozer and wrecked bikes.
About this he writes:
“Illegal dirt bikes and ATVs endanger the lives of New Yorkers. We never leave any unchecked. We’ve taken almost 2,000 motorcycles off the streets this year and we’re just getting started. You should understand: you want to terrorize our city? Then you will crushed.”
The video was made during a press conference at the Erie Basin Auto Pound in Brooklyn. Mayor Adams talked about his plans to rid the streets of New York of illegal moped bikes and finally let the bulldozer do its job.
