The search for the members of a brutal bicycle gang in New York continues.
The bizarre attack by a group of teenagers on a taxi and a BMW SUV caused horror on Tuesday: the group first blocked traffic with their bikes – and then attacked the vehicles with tremendous force.
They hit and kicked the windows with full force, hurled their bicycles against the cars, and destroyed the windshield of the BMW. The driver finally saved himself by stepping on the gas and moving away from the danger zone.
Successful police searches? Nothing! Curious: a suspicious boy (15) from the borough of Queens had to be let go by the investigators after they checked his alibi. Geovanni Valli told several media outlets that he had bought a present for his mother at the time of the attack.
The cops dropped the allegations against the boy when they checked the receipt with the exonerating time. Besides, that’s what the now reports New York Posthe doesn’t even own a bike.
The lead investigator in the case then went to the boy’s family in Queens to apologize for the mishap. He took responsibility for the boy’s arrest towards the relatives.
In connection with the bicycle attack, the NYPD arrested a 17-year-old. The search for five other suspects continues.
