New York Auto Show postponed to August

Instead of April, the traditional New York Auto Show will not take place until the end of August. The organizers have decided to take the step because of concerns about the corona virus. Image: press-inform

While the press days of the New York Autoshow take place on August 26th and 27th, the fair at the Jakob Javits Center will be open to the public from August 28th to September 6th, 2020. “We are taking this extraordinary step to benefit our participants, exhibitors and all participants to protect against the coronavirus. For 120 years, the motto ‘the show must go on’ has been deeply embedded in our DNA, but our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of everyone involved, ”said Mark Schienberg, President of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association. “We have already made contact with many of our exhibitors and partners and are confident that the trade fair will also be a successful event on the new date.”
