Faced with the intense heat wave in the region, many prefer to go to cool off and relax in the city’s public swimming pools and beaches, which recently reopened at 100% capacity. Therefore, the parks department has reported that about 450 lifeguards are needed to complete the number of workers who take care of bathers this season.
