L’case dates back to 2019, just before the pandemic. Hollywood movie star Bradley Cooper recounts, as reported 20 minutes, a mishap that could have had serious consequences. Having gone to pick up his 4-year-old daughter from school, the actor decides, as he usually does, to take the metro. “I was on the subway at 11:45 am to pick up Lea from downtown, from the Russian school, and I was threatened by a man with a knife,” he recounts in the Armchair Expert podcast.
Frequently approached in the street, the actor was not immediately suspicious of the aggressor. He explains, “It was pretty crazy. I realized that I had become far too comfortable in the city. I had let my guard down. I was at the end of the metro, automatically, I went right to the end of the train. I felt someone coming. I thought, “Oh, they want to take a picture or something.”
Chase in the metro
But the young man was armed. He held in his hand a knife with a blade of about seven centimeters, pointed in his direction. The metro stops and the attacker fled in the face of the lack of reaction from the actor, who, headphones on his ears, did not hear his threats. Then begins a chase, Bradley Cooper tries to photograph the individual who nevertheless manages to escape into the corridors of the metro.

He finally comes across the police. “I talk to them,” he says, “and the guy kept saying ‘You were stabbed?’ I would say “No, no.” He asked me to check if I was not injured. What is happening is people are getting stabbed and they are in shock. I looked to see if he was right… And then I got back in the metro and picked up my daughter. It was crazy ! “.
