Boat tragedy in front of the world famous Manhattan skyline!
Two people died in a tourist boat accident in New York. The boat capsized in the Hudson River near Midtown Manhattan for initially unknown reasons, the authorities said on Wednesday.

It was rented for an excursion, it said. A total of 13 people were on board. A 47-year-old woman and a seven-year-old boy from Colombia died in the accident. Three other people were taken to the hospital.

Authorities said it was still investigating why the boat capsized.
Mayor Eric Adams said, shocked, “This is a stark reminder to us as we live through the summer months – that water is a beautiful part of New York, but it can also be a dangerous part.”
