Cheeky burglars rammed a car into an SUV and stole $ 20,000 from its bewildered driver in a blatant Upper East Side robbery on Saturday, law enforcement and resources said.
In a spectacular scene that looked like a little something out of a “Rapid and Furious” movie, a black Mercedes crashed into a silver Toyota Rav4 as tires screeched and shocked pedestrians jumped for address, a viral online video showed on social networks.
Mercedes deliberately rammed the Rav4 on Next Avenue around 91st Road around 4:40 pm, cops said.
The 55-calendar year-previous guy driving the Rav4 was driving north upstream on Second Avenue close to 91st Road at all-around 4:40 pm when the Mercedes deliberately still left.
Video clips circulating on social networks demonstrates the Mercedes on the floor to get to the Toyota and ram it to the aspect, spinning the SUV at the intersection.
