This year’s New Year’s child was born at 10.11 on 1 January at UNN Tromsø. The parents are mother Siri Pettersen and father Runar Hansen. They live on Kvaløysletta.
– He is a healthy and fast boy, says dad Runar to Nordlys.
The boy has not yet been named.
– We do not completely agree with ourselves yet, there are many to choose from, Hansen says cheerfully.
He says that they were surprised that their son became a New Year’s child.
– We thought that someone was born before him, he came quite late, he says.
Hansen is grateful for the follow-up at UNN.
– Siri felt safe and taken care of, and it was nice for me to see on the sidelines, he says.
