Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — From Dubai to Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, celebrations have spread across the UAE, welcoming the new year 2023.
In Dubai, many places saw musical performances and fireworks, the most prominent of which was the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world.
The UAE capital Abu Dhabi also witnessed similar fireworks displays, as part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival activities in its New Year celebrations.
Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah staged massive fireworks displays that unfolded for miles along the emirate’s shoreline.
